Heroes

I loved it. There were a few things that really shocked me...like the very last scene. How tangled up is the family!? Sheesh! Is this a night-time drama or a soap opera?

And what was up with the message from Hiro's father? I hope we find out what that was all about. There have been other plot devices that get dropped. I want answers!

what's up with Claire's inability to feel? Did Syler pluck out a little piece of her brain? And what's he been doing with everyone else's brains? We've never seen them - just the open skullcaps.... and don't say it's too gory - we've seen open skullcaps, Claire's exposed ribcage, a beheading, and Mohinder's skin falling off.

I've got the first two episodes burned to CD and the CD in my DivX player. I was working on my resume when the episodes aired and I haven't watched them yet.

Prediction ....
Mohinder is turning into some freaking bug creature.
I here people saying that Syler is a Petrelly. if you notice that Ms. Petrelly whispers in his ear... "My son". or something along those lines. I am not sure if i agree. It "could" be true. But i think it was more manipulation.
Questions?....
what is up with Niki? she has the power to freeze now? i thought she was dead? why is she a different person now?
is Linderman real or just Nathon seeing things?
What happened to Claire... feel things? what? if there is a problem why can't she heal herself?
Where is Mica in this story?
how is the "past" peter going to get out of the SOUND Manipulator's body?

Heros season 3 still hasn't made it to my shores yet but I can't wait.
However, we just had the last episode of the new BBC Doctor Who season 4 air last night and I am still buzzing.

The development with
Mohinder is the main thing I have a problem with. And I'm talking the events leading up to him injecting himself, not the aftermath. He was never so reckless or rash.
I agree that
Sylar isn't a Petrelli...I was reading similar things in other boards. I never once thought he was REALLY her son. I also think it was more a manipulation thing.

I watched the first season, and rather enjoyed it, however, after trying to watch the second season I felt they were pulling stuff out of whatever they could to keep the show going and thought the quality was dramatically reduced... So season 3 is not for me...

Yeah, even the people working on Heroes have apologized for Season 2...it was weak sauce. :p I'm giving it another chance in hopes they can salvage the series...because I want to like it.

how do we (the US) get Dr Who before you do?!

Too bad it's taking like a 2 year hiatus ...bleh

2 year Hiatus really... wow that has really put a corck in my monkey barrel!

We get most programs later than the US and Uk cause we have a different TV ratings season, cause we have winter when you have summer etc. Hence the fact that Heros season 3 still hasn't started here despite being "fast tracked" from the US.

i just figured BBC would send it there first :) but i guess the seasons bit makes some sense...still a little silly though!

@ any rate...google Dr Who Series 5...not coming until 2010 :(...can't remember if its fall or spring though

Nah, Sylar isn't a Petrelli. He's just a puppet.

Who watched episode 2?
Here's a good question, why didn't Claire's biological mom suffocate with Claire when in the cargo box? Her power is to make fire, right? Does that also mean she doesn't need to breathe?

who thinks he's a petrelli now?!
I'm not sure.

On one hand, the whole idea inspires a facepalm.

On the other hand, it would help explain similarities between Sylar's power and Peter's power.

I think it's somewhere between true and false: Sylar isn't a true Petrelli--he was the unsuccessful prototype and Peter's the final result.
All in all, this season feels more coherent than season 2, as if the writers actually have a plan. The only exception is the Mohinder/Maya arc. I have no idea what they're thinking there.

Looks like we'll find out more about Mohinder next week, based on the previews.

Speaking of the previews... what's up with Sylar cooking breakfast and inviting Peter in? I think the writers may be going for a LOST storyarc instead of a normal one. We'll have to see where this goes, but it seems a little too All My Children and Days of Our Lives to me.
