Awesome news. Sorry I had to leave early. Well maybe not. Lots of bodies in that screenshot and I think I am developing allergies to repair bills. ;)

Lol but it was a progress raid...just had to bug Tree so that we could have used guild funds to repair right? There goes your excuse Sandman hehe.

Um, trolls give me migraines...
My shield arm was getting tired...
I think I ran through some poison ivy...
Reptiles give me the creeps...
Bird adds leave a nasty mess on my shiny plate...
I believe in no Hex before marriage...

My wife says I am full of... excuses. So if you need any more, just let me know.

It didn't take too many tries though. 5 or 6 or abouts there. I think the fact that every time we tried we got closer was enough to keep people there and trying :)

I think we would've gotten the final boss as well if it weren't so late. 27%!!!!

Grats guys, the Hex Lord is a pretty tough fight, I did it with Insanity on Alhana and it took us 3-4 tries to kill him. Who was on Shackle duty?

Almost forgot...who got the Phat lootz...lol

I was on shackle, but after a few attempts we determined taking it down was in our best interestest because banished mobs generate threat on heals done by healers so as soon as they became unbanished (which was usually early), he'd kill the shackling priest. So to combat that, we decided to take down what would've been banished first, shackle second and the mob that was slept third and kept the sheep target sheeped.

I know the Hex lord does more damage with the more adds you take down but with three top healers in the group, this was not an issue. It did get hairy, but that amounts to learning the encounter and figuring out what is important when.

Loots: Some sword and geez, I don't remember. I think it might have been something plate. I'd have to look at the loot list for the Hex lord to let you know.

Heartless and second piece escapes me.

Fearing the Shackle or Banish target is also useful in a pinch if the Banish pops early, get the pally to fear it then re-banish.

Just get the pally to create a Macro to set the Banish as his Focus and set up the macro to cast Fear on your Focus target that way the pally can cast heals on the tanks without dropping his target to cast Turn Evil.

For Example...

#showtooltip
/clearfocus [target=focus,dead][target=focus,noexists]
/focus [target=focus,noexists]
/script SetRaidTarget("focus", 1)
/cast [target=focus]Turn Evil
/stopmacro [nogroup]

Checks to see if your Focus is dead, if it is it clears the focus, if not it attempts to Assign a Star as the mark and Cast Turn Evil. It does it without dropping your current target.
