<--- 1.5mb/sec download
I'm guessing 256kb/sec upload.

which translates into
190kbyte/sec download
32kb/sec upload

which, of course, is total hoo-hah. I'm more around 95kbyte/sec download and 16kb/sec upload. maybe I'm dividng something improperly? it looks like I'm forgetting /2, but I have no idea where.

1.5 megabits per second download
256 kilobits per second upload

8 bits in a byte
1024 bytes in a kilobyte
1024 kilobytes in a megabyte

(the 1024 is just used by windows cuz its binary and easier for the chipset to process). see if anyone can find my snafu.

umm i the aol thing is only if i do not get the cable from my brother ( we share the line between the two computers lol) and otherwise umm i think its like a 1.5mb connection upload oreo i dont know

Lion, that's a pretty decent laptop and connection. We can try it out for a few weeks or whatever and test it to make sure it can handle around 15 people, and not cause you to lag if you decide you want to play while running it. My contact info is below this post, I can set you up with everything, so all you have to do is double click on an icon, and it's running
