I highly suggest #2. That way you can see all the other forums at once. I would also suggest #1 since we also are part of CGA and that group is amazing for finding new friends in other games and/or just fellow shipping.

Yup, this poll was prompted because of my suspicions on usage patterns after seeing a huge activity decline in the console forums due to being moved. There are some talks on ways to better organize the forums to make it easier to participate in both our niche (IE: game we play) groups as well as meet outsiders.

In this particular instance, I believe we have a problem with mass - everyone knows the other forums aren't read as often, so even things (like alliance events) are often posted here. Because little is posted in alliance section, people typically don't look or post there.

The idea isn't to single people out for "browsing wrong", because I think we have a design issue with how things are being presented. Mainly to get some better data on how people browse the site so that we can try to create forums that are easier to browse and find things.

I submitted option #2 because that is the way it was for the longest time. Now, though, I subscribe to about ten forums - SoE/SOE Main is one of the subscribed forums I check every day.

Oh absolutely. If you just check SoE/SOE Main that's great, but there is so much more out there in ToJ and CGA that you're missing out on. I just want to encourage everyone to branch out and see where God takes you.

I have my rounds as well, I have CGA Gen favorited, ToJ Gen, CGA Staff, ToJ Staff, Guild Wars forums. I check them all at least twice a day. I have a whole folder dedicated to CGA/SoE in my favorites bar

I have cgalliance bookmarked, I tend to run down and open tabs to CGA General, ToJ General, SoE, and Redeemed (and occasionally SCII to see what's new).
