How do I fix the 'file download' process?

Errr......I made it stuck. When ever I download something, it automatically downloads without saving it to anywhere.

I thought it would help my hard drive space problems, but, I need it back so I can save it to my downloads folder!

When downloading a file, it would give you an option: Save as, Open, Open Folder, Cancel. Mine only says the last 3, no Save as, which, like i said, auto dls w/o saving it to anywhere.

How do I bring the Save as option back!? OR, How do I stop having auto downloads without saving!? OR everything at once!?

Stop using Internet Explorer it'll solve all your problems.

there is...i was stuck once and someone told me what to do but i don't remember

Well, I think there must be a way. If he really likes IE, he should back up his favorites (just in case) and reinstall.
