well to do a demo starting off ( since this appears to be your first time)

What you want to do is call someone that you know perferrably a friend or a family member.

Then what you want to do is set up a spefic time when you will show up at their house and do the presenation. Dont worry they do not need to buy anything because you get paid just for showing the... oh wait not that kind of demo

HLTV is a lot more in depth, it requires more settings and a slot on the server... it's best to let that be done by the server moderators when it's needed.

P.O.I. I don't know if they totally fixed this but there has been issues with displaying the scores and freezing the demo... it may help to load a new game(server) with the demo map and then loading the demo (playdemo) that allows everything to work good.
