O_O how? cuz i may be able get ps2's but yeah

Why would you need to link a PS2...

If your talking about 'linking' PS2 for lan multiplayer, its really obvious, buy more than 1 PS2 console. Or if you got a friend that owns a PS2, tell your friend to bring it and use a 'link' cable to hook up the Two PS2 consoles for some lan multiplayer action.

But, the slim PS2 console has a built-in Network Adapter, meaning you can play games on-line, so that you can play with your friends on-line.

http://www.us.playstation.com/

The site gives you a complete list of PS2 games.

With what I own, there are a few, unless you want to get its better version.

- Socom (Socom 2 is better)
- ATV Offroad Fury 2 (ATV offroad Fury 3 is better)
- Burnout 3: Takedown (Best racing game ever!)

I dont know if their compitable to 'link-ups'. Hopefully someone, or your friends know if they are, or how to 'link-up' PS2 consoles.

I looked at my PS2 manual, nothing about 'linking up', so the other option, is getting a Multipad.

http://www.us.playstation.com/peripherals.aspx?id=SCPH-10090U

All you will need is 4 PS2 controllers. The Multipad gives you 4 extra slots, giving up to 4 players. 2 Multipad gives you 8 extra slots, giving up to 8 players, etc.

dude, find "WinBack" I'm not sure if there's a space. It's for PS2 and a little old... ITS HECKA FUN!

WinBack lol

I havent played that in years. I played it on the N64, its was alright, multi-player was nice.

i did some checking and i found link cables on Ebay, so i know their around. and the multitab..... maybe. edit: i looked it up and winback looks actually pretty decent for the ps2, i'll keep my eyes out for it

There are a few other multiplayer online games for the ps2 if you're into RPG's at all.

Everquest Online Adventures Frontiers
Champions of Norrath
Final Fantasy XI
You can also play EA's Nascar Thunder 2005 online as well as the new wwe "Raw vs Smackdown" game.

Personally, I play Everquest for the PS2 and I'm looking to start a Christian guild so if anyone's interested let me know. If not tell me the best mmorpg to play because I'm getting bored playing eqoa all by myself. It's alot of fun with alot of people. Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth. :)

Lan = On-line too? :confused:

If it does, and if you like horror games, try out Resident Evil: Outbreak. I own it, and think its the best Resident Evil online game ever.
If not, 007: Everything or Nothing, is a cool multiplayer, with an awesome multi-player co-op.

hmmm FFXI may be a possibility and i'll look into ever quest. btw, with ps2 do u have to pay monthly to play games?

Certain games, yes. Mostly RPG games like FFX and Everquest.

The games I own, I never had to pay for anything, just for my Shaw Cable Internet service, since I'm using a router/hub.

3 PC's and 1 PS2 using Shaw Cable Internet. :)

I own:
- Socom: US Navy Seals*
- ATV Offroad Fury 2*
- 007: Everything or Nothing*
- Resident Evil: Outbreak*
- Burnout 3: Takedown*
- True Crime: Streets of LA
- Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Duelists of the Roses

* = can play on-line

The PS2 Network Adapter is both Broadband(DSL/Cable) and Dial-up.

The big, older version of the PS2, you have to get it as an add-on, like mine is called, Playstation 2 Online Pack, came with the Network Adapter, 1 controller and 1 game. The slim, newer version of the PS2, it has a build-in Network Adapter, so you wont have to worry too much.

When the online game of Yu-Gi-Oh comes out, maybe you and I can duel. ;)

I meant a video game on-line version of yugioh, but I've seen what you mean.

I've check it, tried it, and I still prefer the one I own.

People have different opinions to different things, heh.

Be advised, Atown, PS3 is coming soon.
