I bought Fraps in anticipation of UT2007's release. I want to make a 2k7 frag video when it comes out.

To test out my purchase I hopped on a demo DM server and recorded a gameplay demo of myself, then used Fraps to capture the demo. I don't have any editing software yet (my friend is going to get me some) so I just threw something together quick in Windows Movie Maker.

Anyway, you can watch this monstrosity here.
 
Very impressive! My favorite part was when that guy sat perfectly still right behind the double damage for around 4 seconds before you killed him. You must have been going easy on them :).
 
Quite nice, quite nice.

Interest in making videos has been on the rise lately. I might have to type out a tutorial on encoding videos for best compression and quality, as well as a list of free file hosting sites.

EDIT: In the meantime, I recommend downloading and using AutoGK and the XviD 1.0.3 codec to encode your next video.

I wish I was on that server....:D
The funny thing is I have seen those players before... Was it Vipers Demo?

Anyway, great video. If I ran Fraps while playing I think my PC would start sputtering like chitty-chitty-bang-bang before simply collapsing from exhaustion.
