Officer SOE/LoE/Where's "here"?
OK my computer was custom built in 2009, and I recently upgraded the video card, but it did not correct some reboot problems I have been having. Yes I even upgraded the OS to Windows 7. So sometime in May or June I will swap out the Motherboard and CPU. The current CPU is a first gen I7, and I would like to stay with Intel. I need to start looking at ideas and reasons for those ideas. Looking at no more than $400.00. No I can't afford a whole new machine. Current specs.

I would like to retain the use of at least one PCI slot, two would be better. On board sound is a given. I would like to keep all the rest of the current components. Ideas for upgrades if you please.

What do you use the PC for?
Mostly gaming, other things(like CAD, Video processing), or just normal stuff?
