Don't forget that we are told to pray for the authorities (kings) 1 timothy 2,
and the bible also tells us that perilous times will come....2 timothy 3 (should it be a surprise that men would vote for the guy that makes them feel good, opposing the logic of social conservatism and "despising what is good")
If you read these and still are not at rest Gala, Read all of Romans 13.
Yes a man that is exactly oposite of everything Christ stood for is in the highest office of the state and I will admit I was and am disappointed in the outcome. (also disappointed that Christians thinking he will be great, and sacrificing the right of the unborn, for a "better economic plan"
But what then shall we do?
Submit to Jesus first, then the king, Fight for the rights we do have, let your voice be heard on the unjust issues (not merely complaining)
and pray.
If the times continue with the acceptance of all religions (barring Christendom) we may see the persecution arrive that has befallen other countries and that is fine...... remember the words of Paul to Timothy
"ALL who desire to live godly in Jesus Christ will suffer persecution"
if it comes to that then it comes to that. But the JOY of the Lord is our Strength. the church will survive and Jesus will come again!
