Hey I was just wondering if any of you record your in game play and if so what do you use? I am trying to find a way to record MW2 and TF2 games... I have tried just googling screen capture and I have tried using fraps but when I go to record all I get is a black screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried recording from Steam?

I own FRAPS and it works great.

You can also use Winamp to play music of your choice while playing the game your recording.

Here mine as a example: Playing Resident Evil 5 with Duke Nukem 3D music.

only problem with using the in-game demo recording is that once there is a major update, old demos don't like to play easily. You basically have to create a fake TF2 folder/game and only update it to the update that the demo was recorded on. I've done it before, but it does take some time to do.
