In Response to Starbucks

Genesis1315

Ladies
Why in moments of crisis do we ask God for strength and help? As cognitive beings, why would we ask something that may well be a figment of our imaginations for guidance? Why not search inside ourselves for the power to overcome? After all, we are strong enough to cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure.

Why, in moments of crisis, do we not ask God for strength and help? We were created as cognitive beings and the capability to reason and recognize when a situation is beyond our ability to solve. And, would we not be more successful asking for help than trying to use our own skills which placed us in that predicament in the first place. As a sr. help desk specialist, I know that if my users could get out of the problems they have created, I would not be needed.

As for what is inside of me, I am left with three options. One who is much worse than me, me (who probably created the problem to begin with) and One Who is greater than me. Logically speaking, why should I not go to the One who is greater than me, Who in turn, because He is greater than me, will be able to find a solution to the problem.
