Insane in the Membrane is back and now even easier!

I feel that way about the PvP titles, I slaved every week in PvP to get just a little higher in vanilla WoW and now they are just gonna bring them back in Cata...I say double fail Blizz..

Agreed.

If it's any consolation at all, it might be a lot harder to get than you're thinking. I'm not sure the repeatable quest in northern tanaris is still there. If you take a quick look at the map, most of northern tanaris is underwater now. You may have to grind rep the hard way (i.e. killing a stupid amount of mobs).

I'm not familiar with this. The quest I repeated for Goblin rep (without trashing my bloodsail rep, mind you) was [Free Knot!] and [Gordok Ogre Suit] in DM North. Never did I grind anything in northern Tanaris...
 
Reminds me of the parables of the workers in the field where some started early and some started late but they both got paid the same.
 
I'm 8k into revered with Shendralar....so does that mean I will stay where i'm at forever? I don't know if i should hurry and get the rest of it done by cata or leave it.. lots of gold wasted.. wahhhh!!! And i'm sorry Flame.. seems like whenever someone tried hard for something.. later on blizz hands it to everyone else for half the work. sad...

I've heard (not for sure though) that the rep bar will remain in your rep window, forever frozen at the point you left it at. I'd go ahead and finish it if you're that close. I'm not sure if the Shen'dralar FoS will be worth it, but at this point it looks like it won't be attainable any longer so this will be your only chance. I've heard that it will still count towards your total exalted reps for achievements such as 40 exalted reps. I also know that Ghostcrawler is making a big effort to make achievements like this account-wide, so don't worry about grinding this on more than one character.

Many people, including myself have sent in complaints to Blizzard (complaints from people that were never really serious about getting the achievement were what got this thing nerfed in the first place), so you may want to go ahead and finish it on the small chance they will ever reverse this decision or make it worth our while to have done. If anything, you'll be viewed as a "true" Insane by other people that did the original feat.

The only time I've ever seen this many people so upset on the forums was over the RealID fiasco, and they never went through with it. So there is hope.

If you have a price threshhold for Pristine Black Diamonds or any other items I might find on the AH, I'd be happy to nab them off the AH when I see them and COD them to you for the same price. I used to have a few people do that for me - I'd tell them to buy any PBDs they find under 200g and COD them to me. Worked well.
 
I need just 11 more turn ins. I have all the diamonds I need, just trying to get librams of Protection. Been buying any I see go up, payed 400 for 1 once even lol. Then just farming Blood and Skins. So I pretty much got it. I hit every blood spawn tonight, so tomorrow i'll go back out and i'm sure I'll get it. Thanks for all the support!

Pro Tip: The Sharing buff from the Thanksgiving tables increases rep gained by 10% for one hour.
 
So I hit exalted last night but was going in tonight to top it off and do 2 more turn ins and the dudes gone. oh well.. i'm forever 400 rep into exhaulted.. that will totally bug me but oh well. Glad thats over. Now gotta try for insane easy mode =P

Although flying in Kalim and EK will make things easier, you have already done it the hard way by including Shen'dralar in your grind! Much respect; I'll be glad to have you as a fellow Insane!
