I participated in attacking for the first time lastnight, and it was quite enjoyable. I still don't quite understand the objectives, but what I got out of it at its simplest level is you have to control all the towers at once to take it? Not sure on that and any clarification is greatly appreciated.
 
You have to take and hold all three, I believe.

Which strategically, is a little hard to do. The best theory seems to be camp the grave yard with most of your army. This however doesn't happen.
 
As the attacking side you have to capture and hold all 3 bases to win. This is rather difficult as the entire defending side can all gang up on 1 base to take it back easily. It will be interesting to see how they may tweak it to give the attacking side more of a fighting chance.
