Interesting Christian Discussion Videos.

http://www.youtube.com/v/SmLhyPjHVes Turn up the sound, so you can hear what he's saying. Very short video - about 1 min in length

NOOMA: Rain (Rob Bell Series) Windows Media clip - 10 megs, approx 11 minutes in length. You can right-click the picture once the movie starts and change it to full screen, but it will slightly distort the image. Still decent to view, even distorted.

I've watched 3 of the videos in the Rob Bell series. Personally, I find him to be a very good speaker and have enjoyed his work. The youth group pastor at my church has been letting me borrow these...and I've been taking them to work. The guys that are willing to watch them have loved them so far. Great for all audiences - can initiate great conversation about 3 or 4 major topics from each video. Each one lasts between 10 and 15 minutes - so you can squeeze one into a small time frame, even with a good discussion following the viewing of the video.

Thanks so much for posting this Randy.
The 1st link, I had seen before, but still worth seeing again.
The 2nd one, I had never seen, and my family sat and watched it together. Thanks so much for sharing it, I know me personally, could use it. God is in Control!!! and He loves us VERY much.

I am so blessed to be allowed to serve The Rock, the Almighty God, Prince of Peace, The Mighty Fortress!!! I praise and Love you Lord!!!

I guess I might as well put this here...

What do y'all think of us having a section of the website or forums set aside for things like this? That way we could point people over to the "what we believe" section of the website.

I've talked to my pastor a few times, and he's given me permission to post audio tracks of any sermons he preaches, I just need someplace to post them.

Just a thought :)

I think that's a great idea John. I've got a new site in the works and I'll make sure to add a section for this type of stuff.

Here is a really long video explaining all about dinosaurs and creation, the age of the Earth, and similar related topics.

When I say long, I mean over 2 and a half hours. While very fascinating and full of detail, photo and video evidence to back up the speakers claims, it is still very long. However, even if you only have 15 or 20 minutes, he gets thru some very important issues very quickly, then expands on them over the remainder of the video. I would highly recommend this video.

Last one for today...probably :)

This video shows us that sometimes we have to do unusual things to help those we love. It's fairly short - about 7 minutes in length. More drama than discourse, but the point is still very easy to bring home.

I listen to Itunes podcasts a bunch. Someone mentioned listening to a sermon while playing last night. anyways Itunes is free and the podcasts are free. Some of my favorites are.
InTouch with Charles Stanley
Focus on the Family - Dobson
1 Year Daily Chronological Bible
A New Beginning with Greg Laurie

in Itunes, just go to podcasts and search, all these will come up. There are a ton more.
