That is just laughable you two:

Budhayana, discovered this in the 6th century AD.
The book of Chronicles was written 5th century BC.

The bible speaks of it 1100 years prior Budhayana.

--edit---
I meant the book of First Kings. I realized my error travelling from one office to the other. Doesn't change anything though, except adds 50 years to the difference making it about 1150 prior.

That's ok, Rizz isn't very good either.

Thats a contradiction.  I guess we can through out all the facts of India listed in New York life.  Or should we throw out the time line of mathmatics.  One of them is completely wrong.

Well, nonetheless, I am waiting for you to explain why such large contradiction exists. And why I should believe any of the facts in light of this glaring contradiciton. I'm sorry, this contradiction just overshadows any reliance I could put on them. I just can't believe any of them.

I don't think there's anything to 'explain' per se about this.. One or both of the souces is wrong, is all. I don't have time to look into it now tho, I'll do it later.

Well the Vedas was written between 1500 and 500 B.C. I've been reading about it and asking my dad and Baudhayana had written it 800 B.C. which is different than 600 or 700. But no one knows exactly when he was born or died. But he was a Vedic priest. He used math to show how to accuratly build altars for ritual sacrafice. But to please the gods everything had to be exact so math was used. Because if it wasn't exact the gods would be upset. So they might be wrong about the date, but we know he was alive somewhere between 800 and 600 B.C.

I say he never existed.  It simply makes sense to believe so.  Nobody knows when he was born or when he died.  They only have some writtings that has a 1,500 year date range that doesn't agree with what, at least 3 different sources. I'm find this impossible to comprehend.

That makes no seense, we know he existed, we just don't know the exact date. We don't know the exact day Jesus was born (no one say Dec 24, its really a pagan holiday). I say he didn't exist, he's like the tooth fairy.:p

moved to religious discussion so i dont have to pay any attention to it
