Does anyone know of a reliable news source from a Christian perspective?

I have heard that Jesus' hand is on the door to come, that everything is in line. But I have often heard that Solomon's temple will need to be built first. As I glanced at the newspaper today I realized the news would actually be exciting if I could see how it is in line with Scripture. It seems like it could not be long with first time happenings in Israel and the enemy making his bid by supposedly finding an "18,000 year old woman, the fossil find of the century!" All these things just got me wondering, where do we stand with the coming of the Messiah?
 
so you are a young earth creationist? what about the old earth creationist?

As far as Jesus coming that is totally and completely unknown even to him.

As far as the end times i think we have been living in those since ascention of Christ.
 
I think we are in the labor pains at this point. The Bible tells us that only God knows the time that this will occur. Until then, I would recommend living like He was going to return at any moment.

I am, however, looking forward to the day.
 
yes although it has probably been a little less than 2000 years. We know what God's word says and while each one of us (I would imagine) would love to be around for His return, we won't all make it.
 
well.. you say echoed as if we are kinda religous cult members... like it isn't true... *starts crying*... anyway,... marcylene go to raptureready.com i found it and it has a pretty good timeline. DV when u mentioned echoed, it says that NOBODY will know the exact date or time the messisah will comeback! we however, CAN estimate within about maybe 70 decades to i absolutely have no idea, but ROUGHLY around there.

marcylene, u say the temple has to be rebuilt? i think that he raptures us, then all that antichrist and rebuilding jewish temple stuff and all that other yucky stuff happens.. [edited: i don't implie that jewish stuff being rebuilt, i mean like what will happen during those 7 years...] ppl are >.< at least we won't be there!

I can hardly wait myself! He did seem to want us to always look for His coming throughout the ages. That very statement DV set me back years when I was searching for Jesus as a teen.

yound and old earth creationist? sheesh louise! I wanted to study further...can't anyone agree on anything?
 
Thank you for the timeline! I am really wanting something that deals with here is unbiased news as it REALLY happened, and LOOK! it cooresponds with the Bible here!

I love Revelation more than ever and I need to study it as you can tell

I have been spoonfed, and I do wonder how, for example that the Catholic church is the great whore...and there are many others. That book has been the hardest to understand, for me.

Basically, the main reason I started this was to get that news source from a Christian perspective. A google search brings multitudes of hits; I was simply wondering if anyone had a favorite.
 
I cannot honestly judge rapture.com.  I had a bad feeling when I went in there.  Therefore, I was judging by the cover only. In all fairness, when I asked for a site address, I pretty much had in mind what I was looking for.  Plain, simple, a single opinion from someone I felt that I could trust.  I have been looking through google for several days and wasn't having much luck!  Again, I wanted simple, as in here is the headline, this is how it lines up with Scripture.  I like this guy *wonders if he is married.*  LOL  Nice, informative site and he has a good sense of humor to boot!  Here is his view of our Heavenly Mansions!
