They introduced a new item in game, which drops off Kil'Jaeden. The name of this item is "Cloak of Unforgivable Sin".

I see this as a massive insult to Christianity, and a direct insult to God. If you could, please submit a ticket about this in-game. The more people who speak out against the naming of this cloak, the faster it gets changed.
 
Well there is mention of an Unforgivable Sin in the bible, but it is related to a specific instance of Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit that many think cant be repeated this day in age.

But if you were to win this loot and wear it you would effectively be wearing "cloak of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit"

yikes , no one should ever wear that thing, no matter how great the stats are. It is an insult.
 
ya its poor naming but to go the extent of not wearing it? i think its like picking your fights and there are much worst things going on in wow and other things then a cloak
and its not like its going to affect my relationship with God and what i believe in and my witness because im wearing a cloak that says an unforgivable sin... u could actually use that to your advantage if someone asks u about it then u can explain there are no unforgivable sins and thats because of what Jesus did for u..
 
There is an unforgivable sin, Jesus warned the Pharasis about it as they were about to cross the line. Its accepted as Blashpemy of the Holy Spirit but what that means is a topic of debate.
 
I am just curious... what classes wear it?

Is it DPS, Tank or... dot dot dot .... healers...

the unforgivable sin IMO can happen. i dont know how, but i know its out there.
 
Here is something to think about: What is the one thing you can do to ensure the kingdom of Heavan and eternal presence of God is out of reach eternally?
 
I have quit the game for good, until they rename this. This is too much of an insult for me to even bother playing the game. As a Christian, I try hard to put the Lord before anyone and anything... this is a really hard test, and a really hard thing to give up. I really loved playing this game, so it hurts a lot. At the same time, I am just filled with dread about the whole situation. I told everyone not to try and talk me out of it, or I'd have nothing to do with them again.

well i talked with my dad about it and heres what i get from teh whole thing (please like i always say correct me if im wrong) but the unforgivable sin is not accepting Christ. It's rejecting Christ as your Lord and Saviour because that is unforgivable... Not allowing the Lord into your life is the only sin that God won't forgive you for unless u accept him

and after talking it over i do see how it's an insult and im proud that your sticking to your conviction gnome.
 
As for the classes, it's agility/stamina/haste/AP, so designed for rogues and hunters. This to me is not a quit-the-game issue--although I can respect those for whom it is--but I'd certainly refuse to use it.

I can respect somebody who makes such a decision and then goes by it. I suspect nobody in this guild is about to shroud themselves in that cape anyway, if it even dropped for us because by some fluke we got there, I forsee many void crystals I will be breaking up into Large Prismatics.
