The Tribe of Judah routinely performs membership sweeps to determine if members are still active.  Over the next couple of weeks I will be performing one of these sweeps.

Again, membership sweeps are just to determine the active status of the members of ToJ.  Member sweeps do not remove you from ToJ.  We simply flag you as inactive in our roster.  At any time in the future, you can be made active again by simply contacting the membership administrator.

How the sweep will be performed:
- Members who have recently joined or logged into the website in the last three months (January through the current day) are already determined to be active.
- Members will have from now until Saturday (3/27/2004) to login to the website to be excluded from the sweep.  For login issues please contact me.
- Around this time on Saturday (3/27/2004), an email will be sent out to those that are left on the roster that we have not heard from in the last three months.  The email will have some links in it.  One will be to continue your active status as a member.  One will be to set you as inactive and the last will be a request to be completely removed from the roster.
- Members will then have one week to respond by clicking on one of the links in the email.
- Emails that bounce back to me as bad addresses will be added to the inactive member list.
- Towards the end of the week (4/1/2004), a final reminder will be sent to those that have not responded.
- On 4/3/2004 any member who has not responded to the email will be set as inactive.

I think a story in the ToJ Announcements forum is in order too, some people might not even scroll all the way down to the general discussion forum, as they seem to like to use the Counter-Strike forum as their general forum.

Sounds good Que. Maybe one of the forum moderators for the Announcements section could add a post with a link to this message as I don't have rights to do that?

Or top Rizz's Invaders score? I take a crack at that every once in awhile and I just come up short everytime.

hey plank this kinda has to do with the sweep

With the roster we can sort by real name/nickname

is there anyway to sort by like the contact info any way to put that into alphabetical order?

Just wondering.

I think the alphabetical order suggestion of LoJ is pretty good. I'm all for it.
 
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add the additional columns to sort by to my list of things to do.

Just an update. So far, there has been an almost 50% response to the member sweep and it is only two days into it. That is extremely good. But just incase you missed the first email, the middle of this week a reminder will be sent out to those who have not responded.
 
Update: A followup message has been sent to the 80 members who have not responded yet. The deadline is this Saturday.
 
i know i been asking alot lately with the webpage... but is there anyway we can make it so once we log in, it saves a cookie or something for 30 days???
