After the threats by Hasbro, the original people working on this had to stop working on this game. However, other people took this unfinished game and rebalanced and released it. It is out now and you can download it. This looks like a well designed fighter that I hope to play it soon.

Not sure I'll actually play it because I tend to stink on ice at fighting games that emphasize long combos and/or air combos (e.g. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, BlazBlue, King of Fighters XIII).

And I would guess the original intent was for Mane6 to show some <3 to MLP by making a fangame, but I never felt like ponies smacking each other around was ever in the spirit of the show.

But hey, still very impressive that these folks built a fighting game from scratch. (It is from scratch, right? It doesn't look like a MUGEN build.)
