I've realized that Momentous Occasions when they happen usually go about the same way as this thread has. First everyone is excited and thrilled and then as the newness wears off, so does that excitement and thrill.
Warning!!! Introspective Moment Ahead!!!
I've also noticed this to be true in the lives of most Christians. We get saved and we are all on fire for God ready to do anything but then as the newness off our relationships begins to wane and the fire doesn't burn quite as hot we slowly begin to draw back from God and things which once were of great concern and filled our attention slowly begin to get set on the back burner to simmer it's life away.
I say let's rekindle the flame that once burned within us for our Lord..
