Money orders on Ebay

I accidentally bid on an item without reading it entirely (Usually I do, I just wasn't thinking clearly for this time), and the guy only accepts money orders. His rating also isn't that high so I'm a little weary of it. Before I send a check, is there any way to ensure it to be safe? Such as, tracing the check, the shipments, etc.
 
Hmm. You could ask him to send it FedEx or UPS, and have him give you the tracking number.. Other than that I have no idea, Weazel.

afraid not. a money order is effectively the same thing as cash...
