My Gaming Wish list...

Whon

Tribe of Judah Left 4 Dead Chapter Leader
I've been staring at these for weeks/months now and I may just have to bit the bullet and invest in them...

StealthSwitchII

Something about being able to use my feet to quick change my weapons and for push-to-talk just makes me tingle at the amount of multi-tasking I can do. With the purchase of a couple slave switches of course.

I know 300 bucks is a tough one to swallow for headphones, but the technology they are using is just awesome. I've worked hard to make my 7.1 surround sound home theater speakers tweak so I sit in the sweet spot for the proper sound, but these for headphones actually make sense that the sound channels actually sound right and put you in the sweet everytime.

That foot switch looks strange yet useful...

Those headphones look wack-crazy.

I like them!

I have no comment on the StealthSwitch. Let's just say I lift weights in my spare time, and I end up liking to put my feet up and rest while I play with you guys.

As for the Psyko 5.1 cans, I am sure you will get directionality. Most 5.1 headphones do that okay. I am more concerned about sound quality, like I am with most 5.1 headphones, especially at such a high price. The whole waveguide design is what I am concerned about. Sure, it avoids the design flaws associated with cramming a bunch of weak speakers in a small space. But can the sound wave maintain integrity (assuming it is actually generated properly at the source on the top of your head) when it reaches your ears?

I would search at Head-fi.org and look for these audiophiles' impressions for the Psyko. Then actually try these Psyko cans and compare them to other 5.1 cans and regular high-quality headphones.

For my headphone setup, I use the Audio-Technica ATH-A900, and a Zalman Zm-Mic1 for my mic.

If I want the 5.1 surround effect, I get the JVC SU-DH1 Surround Headphone Adapter (Japanese version) which converts Dolby/DTS 5.1 into Dolby Headphone. The adapter's amplifier loses some fidelity at high volumes, but it is good for gaming purposes.

My gaming wishlist would include a new ASUS or DFI motherboard, a quad core AMD Phenom, and a Radeon 4850.

lol that is EXACTLY what I just bought not too long ago (plus 4gb ram). Lemme just say the thing is a beast.
