I have a Mo/R Protection Monk/Beastmaster that rocks.
Prot-10+4(Sup rune+Head tatoo thing)
Divine Favor-8+1(minor rune)
Beast Mastery-12
Health-455(with Sup Vigor Rune)
Energy-45
Weapons-Yakslapper, Level 20 Elder Wolf "Tyrant"
Skills
1.Reversal Of Fortune-Great prot monk skill, heals and prevents dmg.
2.Guardian-Great in tight situations, spammable, and is a great alternative to Aegis in PvP(Use Aegis instead of this in PvE parties)
3.Shielding Hands-good dmg reduction(thinking about switching to protective spirit, but I like this because it's cheaper and I've been using it FOREVER-since presearing)
4.Call Of Haste-speeds of Pet's attack and Move rate by 25%(very useful for beastmasters and speeds up my pets attack, thereby speeding up the Ferocious Strikes, thereby giving me energy
)
5.Ferocious Strike-Elite Pet attack, this is the CORE of my build. Instead of being Mo/Me and using inspiration magic to gain energy, Mo/N with Offering Of Blood, etc. I use this to gain energy. At 12 BM I get 9 energy and my pet does +27(?)ish dmg. Combine this will Call Of Haste and tap it right when it recharges and you will have a nice steady flow of energy coming in, while doing dmg.
6.Comfort Animal-Self explanatory, every beastmaster needs this to either heal or quick rez their pet.
7.Charm Animal-self explanatory again-you need this to have a pet.
8.PvE-Ressurect or Rebirth, PvP-Rez Signet
Basically I can do dmg, while protecting, and having literally a constant flow of energy coming in with the Ferocious Strikes. It's capped in Spearhead Peak, north of Copperhammer mines by Thul The Bull. I caught my Elder wolf at lvl 15 also over there in Spearhead Peak. I only have 3 prot skills, but they suit me well I think. I might switch out shielding hands for Mend Ailment in condition heavy areas, but all in all this is what is working for me. Right now I just got to the Ring Of Fires "Ember Light Camp" and plan on trying to beat it in the next few days. Pm me is you see me online. Miss Evangelina, Miss Avania, Lady Nevina, Miss Alexandrea. Later SoE. I just felt like posting my monk build..
