NEED HELP MYDOOM VIRUS on dad's pc

My dad got the mydoom virus on his computor. he downloaded norton anti-virus for $30 and extracted it, and now the install won't run NEED HELP!

never mind, he went out and bought mcafee virus scan and is getting rid of the virus, they norton should refund him for a non- working $ 30 install

Our post master Que (round of applause) warned us about it, and i got a free Anti-virus runing on my computer now. (yay) It's a nice A.V. it should cure your dad's computer.

you couldve run the remote virus checker on symantec's site.

As for norton anti virus not installing, if it's a corrupted download then you can always re-download again, as long as you kept your download link.

But more likely, the virus was simply preventing norton anti virus from installing as to preserve it's existence.
