http://www.icr.org/ These guys are the experts! I think Darwin has been set up as a god and I cannot imagine why anyone would choose to listen to him over what the Bible has to say. Taking God at His Word as a whole seems most reasonable, more especially if you see Him as the great Scientist that He is and take into consideration the mathematical Genius in which the universe shows signs. Not to mention the Artistic now nailed scarred Hand print of God in this magnificent, beautifully awesome creation. He is the Great I AM, that is the only reasoning that we need!

First of all I would like to praise God for finally revealing this bit of scripture to me!! Amen!

2 Peter 3
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

I want to say thanks for you guys who are fulfilling this prophecy, cause it just makes my faith that much stronger. Also I want to point out in case you missed it from my last post.

After reading your reply i think you may have mis-interpretted this to be people who are creationists, but these are quotes from people who are not.

And Eon I enjoy your replies, I always like to hear things from "across the pond" and enjoy the wording you use cause its always different from us americans/canadians. But i would also like to point out to you that while we accept the account of creation on faith, you also accept the account of evolution on faith as well. If there had ever been any sort of IRREFUTABLE evidence presented in favor of evolution, we would not be having this discussion right now, because while we Christians can be stubburn, we are not dumb. But since the debate still rages on as to the origin of our existence, all I can do is be a faithful soldier to the side with which I am affiliated. Maybe one day we can pull ourselves out of the trenches and enjoy a good game of soccer or what you would call football.
