I just jumped on the AMD price slashing

Just got myself a new system, since my bro's lappy just fried, he gets my old comp and i get a new system.

AM2 x2 3800+ dual core
Gigabyte Mobo
2gigs PC4300 DDR2-533mhz @ 3-3-3-8 CL
7600GT
Aspire Case with Aspire 420 Watt PSU
74gig Raptor HDD
dual dvd burners
XP home

My bros system will now be:
P4- 3ghz w/HT
gigabyte SLI mobo
1gig PC3200 @ 2.5-3-3-8
6600gt (hopefully it works)
cheapy case and 430 watt Thermaltake
80gig WD 7.2k hdd
XP home
dvd burner

We have been saving money for something over this summer, and that $600 was used for a computer (4 months of saving). Thats gonna be the only computer built this year and only game I or anyone will buy till Christmas.
 
The price was right. I've been wanting to go AMD dual core for a while now, but they were too expensive. Now that they are the same price, of course a amd will crush a 920 intel dual core.

Plus am2 uses DDR2, yay.
 
Well, new system is together and its rocking. Only thing bad is 1 stick of ram DOA. So i gotta send both sticks back and i sit on lappy for more than a week while RMA happens.
