No further 'class review patches'

Last night, in a thread on warrior class forum, Tseric (a Blizzard poster) stated that class reviews, as we have seen them in the 1.X patches, are not going to happen anymore.

'Class Reviews' as they have been known in the past, are a thing of the past. The devs will make adjustments as they feel are merited, but they will likely be sprinkled between classes and delivered over patches. There will not be a future patch which will be deemed a 'class patch'.

Does it mean, that Blizzard considers the classes are "balanced" ,and that we can only expect minor fixes/tweaks in the future?

My take on this is he is stating the obvious, a whole class revamp with refunded points etc is not the devs immediate horizon because they just finished it with BC.

My guess is that changes will largely come in the form of tweaking abilities and equipment, rather than overhauling talent trees...

As an aside, I still think that shaman talent trees still need a talent overhaul (especially in the enhancement tree). The enhancement tree is fundamentally broken because there are still a large number of tanking talents in the lower to mid-half of the tree... but clearly shamans can't tank past lvl 50 or so. Mail armor tanking ftl. Blizzard has declared the class a dps class, yet to be honest on the horde side, I can't recall the last time I saw a shaman around lvl 60 who was even sniffing the top of the dps meters (sure before lvl 50 or so they can top the meters). I expect the same from alliance shaman going forward. I still believe that restricting totems to only buff a single 5-man group limits the class' usefulness in 10+ man content. No other buffing class in the game has this restriction (with the exception of paladin/druid auras I suppose, but in both of those cases their buffs can be granted to all raid members). I can understand Blizzard wanting to make the Shaman class different, and I have no problem with the aoe range of their totem buffs, but why they can't benefit all raid members in range of the totem is beyond me.
