Official start time for Straturday?

As mentioned here, I've set up multiple weekly tweets for Tribe of Judah's Twitter feed.

I'd like to add a weekly tweet to announce the start of Straturday, but we don't have a set start time for the event since it's less formal than our other game nights.

I was thinking we could mark the start time as either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Central on Saturdays.

What do you all think?

And if that's 10am Central, then I also try to be asleep at 8am PST. ;)
Since its less formal than our other events, why not just go from noon to midnight, and pick a time zone to place it in. And if someone wants to hop on StarCraft at 11:59, we just whip out the ban hammer and set them straight :p
 
Whenever you log into Steam works just fine. :p 1 PM is roughly like... 10 AM here, sooo sure?
 
I hadn't thought of Pacific and Alaskaland time zones.

Any objections to marking the official start as 1 p.m.? That way, people have a chance to eat lunch before the festivities begin.
 
I can live with 1pm. Tho to get my vote I need a cookie. (This is what we call cookie-barreling in CGA politics ;))

As long as they are virtual cookies, you can have as many as you'd like. :)

Can it be said there are politics in CGA when all staff positions are filled by unpaid volunteers and there are no elections? :D

4 is the amount required to get a recount, but you forgot the extra cookie for processing. We are dealing with bureaucracy here, after all.
 
I have work until 1 PM on Saturdays, so naturally I'd rather have 'Straturday' start sometime after that, just my 2 cents though.
 
But here in cambodia we charge 2 cookie processing. That would mean that you should bring down the price to three cookies to cambodians.

Oh, sorry, you're right. To request that it costs you 2 cookies, another for expedient process, and a fourth for Cambodian taxes. Better?
