You work for Intel and have some video gaming skills, right? On November 15, you will have a chance to flex your e-sports muscles and prove you’ve got what it takes in the world of the video game elite. Meet and try to beat the world’s best professional computer gamers in a one-on-one match in the Oregon JF5 cafe from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
A selected group of international gamers, who are part of the Intel sponsored Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) will be preparing in Oregon for their 2005 grand final later this month.
This is your chance to show your video gaming skills in a fast paced First Person Shooter (FPS) match of Painkiller. It’s easy and all you need to do is beat the clock and the pro and you take home a prize. You might even want to snag a photo and an autograph since one of these guys is likely to take home the $150,000 first place prize at the Grand Finals in New York City on Nov. 20 through 22.
No registration nor is RSVP necessary; just be there and experience the amazing skills these young gamers demonstrate with mouse and keyboard.
