Goblit and GP. You are doing the very thing you accuse tek of doing. This thread is one second from being locked. If you want, I can catalog a list of posts where people have been demanding a lot of things of redeemed and have left in anger (because I have read all of them). They are there. Quit manipulating words. Tek was making a statement of fact. You are still so angry that you saw it as an attack. If you are truly serious about making things right, which I seriously question everytime you jab like this, then you will take the apology even if it is not everything you wanted and continue to work towards mending bridges and trying to get the remaining issues resolved.

Are you blind? Seriously?? You don't grasp the fact that even in a simple apology Tek cannot seem to stay clear of bashing those who left Redeemed? Much less to bash us in the public forums which had gotten threads I have made locked or deleted? Please understand that an apology needs to be just that and not a jab at people.

When I see the President of ToJ, the organization trying to make the difference out there in the gaming world and be the example of Christ, unable to pass on taking a shot at us then what hope is there for the rest of us? Please lead by example and people will respect you more, lead by example and you will have the loyalty and respect you seem to need.

Please remember as the apostles argued who would be first, that Christ stated if you wish to be first you need to be last. That lesson is one we all need to share in.

Feel free to delete this thread, I don't really care any more.

I have been reading the previous thread this comes from, and I wanted to add how I read what has happened....

Icthus sincerely apologized openly to Tek. There was discussion about the apology and then Tek posted. This is how I read Tek’s post:
1. Tek thanks Matt for the apology and accepts it. He says that it confirms to him that Icthus respects him.
2. Tek apologies back to Icthus and says he respects him too.
3. (Both respect each other, even though there are disagreements.)
4. End of apology
5. Beginning of Tek’s sharing of his heart
6. Tek shares the differences he has experienced in how people confront him about problems and needed changes. (Some hostile, some in love)
7. Tek says that it is valuable and rare for someone to look at conflict as a way to grow. (Please see James 1:2-4)
8. Tek Lifts up his brother Icthus for all the trials he has been enduring.

When I read this, I felt very good about the response. I felt that the conflicts between Icthus and Tek were being resolved. I felt the love and respect between them.
As for what Tek said about how people confront him, I do not know what has been said in the past because I am new. I just took his statement here as informing, without any attacks or condemnation.
I do not know Tek as well as many of you may, but I feel that his heart for these matters is one of love. I think the main point he was trying to get across in the last part of his post is how valuable it is for people to work through struggles with patience.
We all need to strive for this. I see it in my everyday life all the time that I need to have more patience.
I pray that we can come to peace and understanding and be united again in our Lord Christ Jesus. A house divided cannot fall. Let us not be a house divided.

While I was going to try to not offer advice, I feel lead by the Spirit to do so…. I would suggest that the best way to resolve these issues are by PM, e-mail, or TeamSpeak. (Any way that you can talk one-on-one). That is the biblical way. (Matthew 5:23-24 and Matthew 18:15-17)

Had it been left out his statement that about those who left, would it be anyless of an apology? Had he simply uplifted Icthus instead of comparing him to others, would it be any less?

Guys. Read the entire context of the orignal:

During Tribe of Judah's history, several members have recognized room for change and improvement. Some have communicated their concerns with love, patience, and long-suffering. Others have spoken in anger and hostility, demanded immediate change, and left angrily when they did not see it.

The context is Tribe of Judah's history and not specifically this issue. How many are familiar with the other issues that happened in chapters like the Counter-Strike where members left because they were angry and did not want to work out their differences. That is the context. And thanks to a few angry posters, this is blowing out of proportion and as a mod I am putting a stop to it.

Everyone take a breath. Read carefully before posting.
