Our new home...

Tip #2: Before you submit an article, make sure you click on the 'Publishing' tab at the bottom and set the 'State:' to 'Published' so that it automatically shows up on the site. Otherwise, an admin will have to publish it for you.

I'll put together some FAQs regarding how to submit articles properly and such when I find the time.
 
The more I look around, the more I love it! It really has depth-actual resources and useful stuff!

I also like the fact that profiles are only visible to logged in members. (Or so Dredd said...)
 
One quick suggestion/observation.........do away with the pretty around the edges and make the box with all the writing in it full size inside the browser. That might make the letters a little larger. My old eyes have to strain.

As asthetically pleasing as it is the water/scenery is taking up space that could better be utilized for LARGER FONTS.

You didn't think I would let Astrod00d get away with 100% pats on the back did you?

Well, since there are 'old' people on here, I increased the font size by 1. :p

Props, Astrodood, looks very slick! Haven't had a chance to dig too far into it, but was curious...any way to tap into the existing ToJ roster system and extend it to show all our characters/alias'? I'm constantly loosing track of names, between real life, Guild Wars and forum user names. :P
 
What sorry state has the English language come to, when people mix up meanings, spell wrong, and use horrible grammar? Curse you, foul Internet!

I know everyone is probably annoyed with the issue of having to login twice to get the user menu and shoutbox. I've been actively looking for a solution to this bug but I haven't had much luck yet. My current assumption is that it is related to the web server being a Microsoft IIS web server and the system that powers the website hasn't been rigorously tested with Microsoft IIS. It may be one of the 'glitches' that may occur on that platform. I'll try to keep you posted as I find out more but please don't let it hinder you from posting all of your content on there.

My hope is that all of the builds for PVE, PVP, Teams, Member/Character Info, and eventually screenshots can be posted on there so that we won't have all of these stickies at the top of the forums.
 
Was Joomla a pain to customize? I'm looking at using a different CMS for my website (currently using E107), so I am installing Joomla right now on my test site.
