paintball!

I went about a month ago for a bacholor party and it was a blast we had about 15 of us go and did a 2 team in a woods set up for it. I did get hit on the side at about 15 ft with a paintball and still today I have a slight ring where it hit, but man was it a blast. I'm looking at picking up a tippman 98 custom, cuz they are very upgradable and can sit in storage for the winter with little to no maintence needed.

I actually have not been paintballing yet. I'd love to go, but I just haven't gotten around to do it. :P

I went a few years ago with a group of friends and had a great time. There were two things I didn't like though, I had to rent a gun and a mask since I didn't have my own. Their guns couldn't fire straight and the mask's visor was so scratched up I could barely see through it. There were two fields we played, one was a forrest and the other was a small town that looked like it was bombed by the Germans. Both were interesting but we all couldn't stop thinking of CS so we were laughing most of the time.

So for those of you who haven't gone, at least buy your own mask!

i know im looking at that! lol well i dont know why but im having a hard time walking so i got to go in the doc soon. ah and i got to work on my sliding!

I have been playing for 8 years now. I am on a tournament team call La Junts eXtreme and also playing on a rookie team called LJX. I am the team captain for both teams atm. I been playing tournament paintball for 3 years. I have a ICD 2004 Freestyle a 2005 ICD Promaster 99 Shocktech Autococker and a few cheaper guns like an Rebel LE and some where I have a Dragun empire TES with "The One" kit on it. I play backman aka I play the tape. I shoot 15 bps on semi auto about as fast as any pro :). My team is partially sponsored by Redz comfort gear but we dont get anything free yet. So if you have any questions I can answer most anything. Oh and I own a Paintball / Skateboard / Bike shop. So I do know what I am talking about lol.

Was awesome had the teams from Null and Agony Skateboards down as well as Tyler Price from Popwar (he is on Flow not a pro or Am yet). Check out Null's site they are very cool guys http://www.nullskateboards.com

I've been paintballing a few times and I love it!

Some friends and I are starting to get into Airsoft now. It's pretty much the same thing, except you play with plastic BBs.

The ammo is cheaper, the guns are cooler (my opinion), and you don't need to worry about the ammo breaking and gumming up the inside of the gun.

You do have to play with honest people since airsoft doesn't leave paint marks. Of course I've played paintball with people who will wipe off the paint and deny getting hit too, so it's not that big of a deal. I also just found out that they do make Airsoft paintballs.

This isn't the exact gun, but this is very similar to what my wife is going to get me for our anniversary:

i went paintballing once, but apprantly the FPS wasn't high. cause we were at winter retreat, the fps was prolly about 300. i think. it was pretty good even though the speed was "slow" we were able to see the paintball coming at you but not too much time to dodge. anyway, it was great and i think paintball is EXTREMELY fun, but i think make sure you know what fps youre playing with.
there are two types of paintball "fun"

you can play ultra high fps where i hear that people actually have bruises (like whon) for awhile. DO NOT play with marbalizers. that means that the paintballs are frozen and its like firing rocks at you. you get humongous bruises.

annnd seecond, it stings like nuts, but not enough to make you bend over and go ouch. lol. have fun.

ok 300 FPS is the max allowed and that is very hard to dodge. Also Marbleizers are a brand of paint and yes they are not good. I amy start carrying Airsoft in my shop. I think Airsoft is ok to play around with but paintball is a man's sport :). Oh and I am a member of the CPPA (Christian Paintball Players Association) Awesome people!
