hand of salvation takes some getting used to for pallies, but once we figure it out it should prevent this from happening. the key is to watch high threat on omen , which we didn't usually have to do as healers (especially as pallies because our threat is usually so low). we had no mechanics for high threat before, "You have salv. What's your deal?" so we just spam heals if you take aggro.
This Hand deal lets you be buffed with your normal (wisdom/kings/might) whatever and still get another buff from the same pally. As we see someone surpassing or closing in on the tank , you throw up a hand of salv on them and it should decrease their threat while decreasing their damage output. this is how it worked in the beta anyways.
question. how does this work for dot damage. anything cast before you get HoS (hand of salvation) is going to tick for the normal dmg? right?
