Please help me pray for Beth:) (Laraptor/Blinkee)

Beth and our child on the way are having a rough month:( I just got home from the hospital where Beth has been since last night. She developed a blood clot in the superficial veins in her calf of her leg. Dr's say it shouldnt be too bad but they are keeping her at least another night to monitor it. We were pretty worried about it last night and they started her on antibiotics and blood thinners to fight the clots but her OB/GYN came to visit her today and said everything is still going good with the baby and should be no problem with what they are giving her. Praying for her quick recovery and that her and the baby will be healthy:)

Her first request was for a Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard from Dairy Queen, not sure if everyone knows what that it but its a mixed ice cream and soo yummy:) Her second request was for a laptop to play WoW on hehe. She is in good spirits and hopefully she will be home tomorrow:)

Growing a 70 and Growing a 1 all at the same time woot!!

Praying for you guys. It can be very stressful being with child.

An update for those I havent talked to, its been a hectic week:) Beth is home and doing much better, still a little pain in her leg and she is on bedrest all week. She misses all of you and hopes to be back soon! She was very touched at all the heartfelt sentiments expressed by everyone:)
 
well iam glad to hear that beth is home and i hope that she is staying off her feet and resting, and of course you both and the little bun in the oven are still in my prayers.
 
bad news, we spent last night in the ER and she now has a DVT in her major vein or artery, Im not sure I cant read Dr speak. But its not good, this one is the serious one that runs the risk of breaking up and moving along to get stuck in your lung or heart. She is home still awaiting a Dr Appt tomorrow not sure why the ER admitted her for a clot in superficial veins but sends her home when its a lot more serious:( will let you know when we know more
 
My thoughts are with you all, may God grant Beth strength and blessings to get better soon. I'm thinking positive thoughts, they've made such great strides in dealing with clots. My Uncle had a 'strainer' put in his vein while he had his clotting problems. Don't know what it is called, but it saved his life at the time. My prayers are with you all.
 
Thank you all for your support and prayers:) I love all of you and it truly does feel like one big family! Beth was admitted back into the hospital tonight per doctors orders to try and get these clots knocked out and hopefully get her on the right road to recovery. I have passed along the well wishes as they come in and it really makes her smile to know everyone that cares for her:)
 
Praying for Beth that the clots will be gone totally and no more complications arise, and that the little one remains healthy.
 
Not the greatest report but not too bad either. Beth is still in the hospital and still in a lot of pain but she is getting the medicine she needs and got to see the first real images of the baby today and he/she is doing just fine, heard the heartbeat and got to see little chin and legs and arms:)) Not so great news is she is still in the hospital because her insurance refuses to authorize her medicine for her to use at home. Cumadin is the regular blood thinner but being pregnant she can only have luminox or something like that, its an injection and they wont cover injectables. Her doctor has appealed and now he is fighting with the medical chief of staff at her insurance to cover it because it is all she can use. She needs 2 shots a day for the next 7.5 months and it will cost $4,000 a month if they dont cover it:( She is in good spirits(just really wants to come home) and misses everyone very much:)
 
GREAT NEWS!! Beth is getting released in 3 hours or so after her next injection:) Insurance company is going to do 10 day supply for $50 copay and work out the rest of it with us too!!
