On Thanksgiving, 2006, one of our Youth Leaders at church lost his son to cancer. He was 14. Please remember him and his family. He almost gave up his position because of it, and I'm sure if it was me, I would have. I used to say to myself that nothing could be worse than losing a child. But to lose a child on a holiday, I can't even begin to imagine how they feel. I would ask that you say a prayer for them, that God will comfort them with the knowledge that he is no longer suffering, and is rejoicing and singing songs of praise to our Father today, and for all eternity.
