Prayer for Tek7

Tek7 informed me via IM last night that he will be taking a few days in order to fight off a sore throat. He'll also be taking this opportunity to start his short story.

Please pray that Tek will have a quick recovery, and that God would guide him through his writing project.

I'm starting to feel better, but it still hurts a bit to swallow. I'm drinking plenty of water and juice, relaxing as much as I can without feeling guilty, and taking some time to write.

On a side note, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed that it's almost October and I still don't have a short short story to submit for publication. I had hoped to get something published this year, but the likelihood of that is decreasing every day.

Please continue to pray that I beat whatever nasty bug is attacking my system, and please pray that my wife dodges the current round of illness (most of her class is sick) as well.

Don't feel to bad. It took Stephen King 10+ years to finish the first Gunslinger book.

I know what you mean about writing. I started a novel once and got 200-250 pages in before I sat it down. Never been able to get back to it. That's been a few years ago. Continue to get well. :cool:
 
Umm, guys..

A sore throat in which it is difficult, and painful to swallow comes with STREPthroat.. I think you should put some time aside and go see your doctor Tek :o

All he/she will do is check your ears and swab your throat, but it's peace of mind knowing you do not have a comminicable disease that is capable of causing physical DEATH :O
