Hi All. Please pray for me as I am preaching at my Churchs new church plant. I won't have any support there as my family will be away and my wife is busy being a tool for capatilist oppression with W Bush at APEC (lol).

I am preaching on Galations and what it has to say about building a new church.
 
God Bless you, bro. I will pray that your nervs are down... yet just remember. Keep on praying and be prepared for what your planning on saying... and the Lord will speak threw you. God Bless.
 
That is great - and what an opportunity to be used by God.

A bit of advice for you - for what it is worth:

1) In your preparation, spend as much time creating your introduction and closing as you do on the content. How you start either grabs people or loses people. How you end may well be what they remember.

2) Tell a story - people are not only touched but they remember stories.

3) Be yourself - that is your best preaching style.

4) Shorter is better than longer.

5) The Bible is better than punditry.

6) Humor is better than eloquence.

You have a great time - everyone there will be pulling for you and a bunch of us will be praying for you.

Hi Guys,

It went really well. I think it sat well with many who were feeling preety low about their failure to live up to the law and was a preety strong challenge for those who have set themselves up as the moral police of the world. Good balance I think.
