No, they get outdated really fast. They are good to get the general idea for a mission, and even sometimes they can walk you through it accuatly.. but most of the time they get outdated. Wiki is your best bet

yeah wiki rocks! though my opinion might be biased, since I am so addicted to wiki that; I cannot go into an explorable area without first pulling up its perks on wiki. 
No really I'm not that bad. Also try pvxwiki.com for builds. It is easier when you are just starting up and dont know enough about all the available skills to formulate your own build.
