Buck up dude

Braveheart let it go. Had you simply said "I stood inline in 40 degree weather for 3 hours getting cussed out by losers" the meaning would have been clear. It does not work the same with the original word in the same context. If you are concerned about your rep as a non-curser, ok you've cleared that up, you don't cuss, we believe you. As a grammar mistake I could have made it to. However the more you post about it the more you bring it to the attention of the community. Getting a warning does not equate to Defcon 1 :p. Had you never mentioned that you got warnings almost all of us would never have known. A warning doesn't mean you knew you where doing something wrong unless you repeat the same exact thing afterwards. Some friendly advice, why don't you ask a moderator to lock this thread? I understand you want to "clear your name so to speak" but honestly this thread is making you appear (I stress "appear") worse than the original post did. I'd ask, but, I think it's your choice not mine.

Insulted no, offended yes. Offended that you would think so little of the community, your brothers and sisters in Christ, to disobey the rules and post another thread to try to prove your right against the leaders of the community.

My opinion would be that if you can't tell the story without omitting the bad words to fit the rules of the community, then perhaps its not worth telling in the first place. If you feel violated because you don't have the right to speak your mind freely, well, frankly take your posts to another forum. The rules are set by leaders who are put in place to help create a family friendly, christian oriented gaming community and in my eyes they helped to maintain that by warning you of your offense. You should be thanking them for being so watchful and helping to keep this community a good example.

All that said I also believe in forgiveness. And in being offended I would say that I forgive you of your actions and hope that you can learn from this.

Ok, im not trying to prove anything here, i asked a question. i thought a lot about the community thats why i didn't cuss i bleeped it out. and im here to keep this a family friendly place, thats why i didn't cuss.

i edited my thread, i guess I'll hang around for a bet more, but can i ask something of the forum leaders?: just please take a moment to see how i put things in context...yes i accidentally made you guys think i cussed but it was not on purpose i thought you would understand me doing that...and when i ask a question can you answer it and not say im trying to prove something?

A friend not on these forums said that was bad grammar and that i should not use the F word...and i told him that i wasn't using the F word...he said i was, so im asking you guys if you were offended by me saying this.
To answer your first question, yes it is bad grammar. Your sentence shifts tenses.

Now, both portions of your question has been answered, so I'm locking this thread.
