Those are great and I want you to know that your signature has spoken magnitudes to me. The days not started with time with the Lord are fruitless. I have always loved this poem, I think it says it well!

No Time To Pray

I got up early one morning
And rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
I didn't take time to pray.
Problems just tumbled about me
And heavier grew each task;
Why doesn't God help me, I wondered.
He answered, "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty,
But the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn't show me --
He said, "But you didn't seek."

I tried to come into God's presence;
I used all my keys at the lock;
God gently and lovingly chided,
"My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning
And paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.

I'm not sure if this counts but it was pretty prophetic to me. One day a couple of years ago my father and I had been working very hard in planting a garden. We had been doing so for several weeks. (My father always plants about an acre and a half in garden) This particular day we had finally finished planting everything that we were going to plant for the year. My father took off his hat, wiped his forehead, and leaned on the tractor, and said, " Well, we've done all we can do. It's in God's hands now." and with that we left the field. (That year, when everyone around us was losing their crops due to drought, we had enough for our families and enough to give away to several other families. God be praised!)

It is in prayers Father
That we press ourselves to you,
O All-Sufficient One,
That we get... in order to give,
that we petition... in order to praise
that we wrestle...in order to rest
We must have our time in the garden
We must go to Gethsemane...
daily..,first...often, if need be.
May we hol high in hour hearts and minds
this picture of jesus is the Garden.
May we we follow in His steps
and refuse to rise until we have
Your love... your joy...your peace.
We pray in Jesus'name, Who has taught us how
to pray.Amen

Opportunity may knock once but temptation leans on the bell.

Quit griping about your church; if it was perfect, you couldn't belong.

The phrase that is guaranteed to wake up an audience, "And in conclusion."

If the church wants a better minister, it only needs to pray for the one it has.

God Himself does not propose to judge a man until he is dead so why should you?

To make a long story short - don't tell it.

Some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

Sin will keep you from the Bible, or the Bible will keep you from sin.
