In the coming weeks, we will start using a Raid and Instance signup page to help manage guild events. This is the same application that HK started using.

There are a couple of test raids in there right now as we are still using the forum signup threads this week (weekending 6/17/06) but we will start making use of it for future raids.

What you can do in preparation for us using it officially is get your account created and your character profiles setup.
  1. Register
  2. Login
  3. Use the Profile link under the PHPRAID MENU on the left hand side to manage your individual character profiles
  4. Practice signing up for the ZG or MC test raid just to see how it works
Notes
  • An email account is required in the registration form but is not checked. So those who do not have their own email can put in a fake email address.
  • One registered login account can have multiple individual character accounts (toons)
  • Filling in resistance information would be helpful to the raid leaders
  • You will not be able to signup for a raid until you have added at leas one character under your profile

How did this work out? This looked like a great tool for setting up raids for all lvls of play.
 
How would I go about adding a raid on this website? I added my toons but can't find a function to add a raid.
 
Only raid admins at the moment can add raids. The one bad thing about it is that the average user can't create raids without being able to edit (and delete) others raids so I have to keep it locked down.

So until they either add the feature or I write it myself, smaller instance runs will have to be posted here first. One of the raid admins or event admins could then add the raid and post the link in your forum post.

Also, if anyone is interested in becoming a small instance leader (which is a big request in our guild) they would be given access to create raids in the application.
