Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
May the Lord, Christ Jesus, bless you

(hmm, thought I'd try a Paulian approach to starting a post, I'll have to start a poll to find out if it is effective or not)

Joystiq, a gaming news and blog site hosted an article on Christian gaming in World of Warcraft. The crux of the article refers its readers to a Landover Baptists article. I should warn you, the Landover Baptist (LOB) site is in no way affiliated with any christian denomination. They are admittedly a satirical\parodical site and the author of the Blog recognizes this and cautions its readers to this fact as well. While it is humouros on some level to think of conversion duels, the LOBs do nothing to further educate people about Christianity. Rather, they actually hinder education through extreme twisting of fundamental truths and it is all done in such a way that many people simply assume that its the truth.

Thankfully, Redeemed is not mentioned in the LOB article. We are however mentioned in the Joystiq article as a genuine christian guild, in stark contrast to the LOB article. Getting such recognition is not the work of one or two people, it is the result of a combined effort of all guild members.

Number 17 did a good job of showing his ignorance to the world, no nead to point out the obvious.

Redeemed Has become a force in the gaming World.

WOOT!

Redeemed has always been the focal point of two types of people:

1. Those who want to join us,
2. Those who want to ridicule us because of our Lords name sake.

Anybody remember the posts in WoW community forums about our service in Stormwind? Pictures et al.

I've gotten lots of people come to me in game over the past few weeks to find out if we truly are a christian guild. Not sure if it is the exposure in that article, or the larger presence on Stonemaul that we are making. Either way, its all good.
