Rusty Hearts

Yes, Rusty Hearts has generic anime trappings. But it's a free-to-play online co-op brawler. I still daydream about designing a 4-player brawler with online multiplayer, but in the meantime, I'll be giving Rusty Hearts a try.

Anyone else interested in giving it a shot?

I'll be downloading the 5GB client overnight and may fire it up if there's time before or after ToJ's Left 4 Wednesday game night tomorrow. It's entirely possible that the game is awful, but, like I said, it's a free-to-play online co-op brawler, so I at least have to give it a shot.

I played it during the beta and was singularly unimpressed. *shrugs*

I like it so far, but without a group to play with, I'll probably get tired of it after a few hours of gameplay. 'Tis a shame, too. I rather like the presentation and controls. (I'm using a Logitech F710, which emulates a Xbox 360 controller.)

My character is Eldridge on US East 1.

So I played through the first two levels (not counting the tutorial level) tonight. And it was actually fun.

I'd love to try the same levels on a harder difficulty setting in a party with 1 or 2 more people. Anyone interested?
