Just found out that Activision has bought Vivendi Games and will be called Activision Blizzard. It is a sad sad day to say the least.

Yup, they have been in discussions since Dec but its officially bites now.

Only thing I can say is at least it was not Atari.

Its not so bad...Vivendi is still in charge, they will own between 52 and 68% of the combined company depending on how it goes. So nothing really should change...for better or worse...
