Has anyone else been watching Sanctuary? I just finished the series premiere today and rather enjoyed it.

The Sci-Fi Channel's trailers set my expectations for the show very, very low (seriously, SFC trailers make even their best shows look stupid), but Amanda Tapping stars as the lead character. Since my wife and I have watched every Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis episode to date, I felt I had a moral obligation to watch at least the first episode of Sanctuary--and I admit I was pleasantly surprised.

It seams ok, but the second episode really looked cheesy in some of the shots (the series is almost entirely CG). The story might be worth it though, if they don't drown themselves in the overused and lame horror genre (which it seems to be heading towards).

I've only watched the premiere episode, but I plan to watch the next episode (marked as S01E03 on some sites, since the premiere episode was a two-hour episode) soon.

I'll try to remember to post again after watching it.

Keep me posted on the show's progress. After watching BSG, I'm a Sci-Fi channel fan. I'm taking a co-worker's advice and watching Firefly next, because he said it was awesome. We'll see if it meets my difficult requirements!

I think I asked this before, but is Stargate SG-1 worth watching?

Okay, I just finished watching episode 3. (The premiere episode counted as 2 since it was a two-hour series premiere.)

It wasn't as strong as the first episode, but still great. I'm planning to watch the first full season and see if they're able to keep up this pace.
