Awesome verse and one that we should remind ourselves of daily.

Amen. So many people want to quote the preceding verses about how wives are supposed to submit to their husbands, but forget that us men are called to give everything for our wives.

Absolutely. I am going through the love dare right now and this was Saturdays. I have been guilty of pointing the finger and overlooking this verse and sticking to the wife one...thank you Lord for your loving convections!

Having been married a long, long time now, I can say with certainty that this is something that is a constant for a happy marriage. Also that it takes much thought and work, but the happy wife, and pleasing God is well worth the effort.
