Oh joyfull stuff to sell. Im trying to help raise money for my folks
so they dont have to pay for ALL the new comp parts for my new system.
5% of proceeds will go to TOJ fund, and other 5% to tithing

ATI radeon 9600SE 4/8x 128mb $65
kept and used under good conditions.
looks good and works really well

PNY 512mb pc 2700 DDR-SDRAM $40
only used for a year. Latency unknown

256mb pc 2700 DDR-SDRAM $20
used for 3 years. latency unknown

Intel Wireless gateway II $10
Good gaming router. 4 wire ports and supports up to 8 wireless.
Very low range level for wireless, perfect for keeping out intruders.
comes with software cd with setup wizard.

NOTE: THIS WIRELESS ROUTER HAS NEVER WORKED WITH ANY INTERNET SERVICE

has a floppy drive, cd drive, power cord, and battery.
ram amount unknown. comes with LAN pcmia card.
no hard drive. may work with knoppix or other distro.
Makes well for a very very basic machine or for spare parts.

several gigabyte hard drive. runs with windows 98. ram count unknown.
comes with cd rom, LAN pcmia card, external floppy drive, power cord,
and battery. battery life is poor, if any. loads and works well for
browsing the internet or doing minor chores. It is capable of running
Starcraft and not much else.

yeah, its desktop ram, and its just 1 stick of pure 512mb
 
still yummy. i have 512 ram on this OTHER crudtop.

if i have 2 ram slots does that 1 stick compatible with one 256 stik? my crudtop upstairs, has a 128 and a 64 mb. = 192 mb of ram. is that always true? you can mix and match? or sometimes.
 
you can and you can't I've got that match up to work sometimes and other times it's not recongized and won't work... Possible just not reliable
 
What whon said + matching different memory sizes doesnt matter, its the other specs of the ram that can conflict (such as the Cas Latency or timings, or the clock of the memory, also if the memory is low or high density, and some brands wont get along) It all depends.

There is a difference between desktop ram and laptop ram.

Desktop ram (example) usually is ddr (in this day and age) are 184 pin DIMMs. And if it is strait SDRAM then its 168 pin DIMM

Laptop ram (example) are usually ddr also, but are much smaller and shorter, 200 pin SODIMMs. And if it is also SDRAM only then they are 144pin SODIMMs

As you can see they dont fit.
 
comeon folks, plz buy somethin. the parts my folks are ordering as soon as paycheck comes in is close to $380, which is much more than i want my parents to pay, so im trying to sell this stuff to make the load easier.

I would be interested in the ram, but its a little pricey..as I can buy new Kingston ram PC3200 low latency for $35 canadian.. :) Besides I'm poor again so I can't buy more ram..what are you thinking Pilgy??
 
well i am willing to negotiate. but also the 2700's are becoming outdated and can be more expensive but i'll edit my post n drop prices....
