Selling Video Card

I'm trying to sell my ATI Radeon X800 GTO 256MB video card in favor of an Nvidia card.

I'll have the card listed on ebay soon, unless of course I have already managed to sell it. I would prefer to sell it to a CGA member.

It's a good mid-grade gaming card with a really cool (and safe) overclocking software tool. I enjoyed the card while I had it, but I have changed operating systems and the driver is barely compatible with my new OS.

All the standard equipment will come with the video card, including all the additional cables, monitor adapter, software, owners manual, etc.

I've had the card for about one year and have been satisfied with it. It is in very good condition and runs fine. I will sell the card for around $70.

I'll sell it to any CGA member for $70. Listed elsewhere the price will be $85 (in case you want to put it on your purefun site or something).

actually ati is pretty good about their drivers. their drivers are good as long as you update. and ive never had a problem with any of my radeon cards in gaming either

ya, only that becomes a major problem when they break something and you now have to reinstall the driver on 100 machines. That and their linux drivers are horribly lacking, they only recently moved to a kernel spec that is more current so a wrapper doesn't have to be used. They still don't have support for their new cards despite being out 6 months.

I liked my ATI Radeon 9600 well enough.

Bowser: Is this a AGP or PCI-Express card?

AGP.

I also own a Radeon 9600 SE. I loved that card, but I no longer use it because the X800 was a major upgrade. Anyway, the 9600 was a very stable card.

I think ATI cards are awesome... I just wish ATI as a corporation would support Linux better. Until they do I will buy Nvidia.

1) horrible drivers
2) laughable support outside of windows
3) my first video card was an ati and had severe issues playing several games
4) performance is usually lacking outside of their top of the line

The guy is just trying to sell his video card. There's no reason to bash his product. It's frustrating when you're trying to sell an item and someone starts up a frenzy. Just let it go!

I wish I could sell my video cards. :(

1 bad and 1 rare. (for me anyways)

ATI Radeon 9550 256 MB
Sapphire Radeon X800 XT PE 256 MB

I think the only true problem with ATI cards is they need more PC/Mac requirements and have a tendency to overheat. (With non-over clocking)

Browser, what do you use instead?
