I coach Upward basketball at my church. Given that I know almost nothing about basketball, I coach the kindergarten team. So, for the past 8 weeks, I have been getting up early and going to church and playing with 7 5-6 year olds for an hour. It has been great!
Our award ceremony was last night. Almost my entire team was there, 4 boys and 2 girls. When the speaker explained salvation to my team and asked people to raise their hands to accept Christ, the 4 boys did (the 2 girls said they already accepted Christ in their heart so the did not need to raise their hands). So they prayed, one boy was almost in tears over it.
I know that some say, how can they make such a decision being so young. Well, they know they like chocolate more than vanilla. It is our work to support them in their decision and help them move forward in Christ.
So I have to offer another huge WOOT! to the Father. Looks like there will be 4 more partying with us upstairs when all is said and done.
